API Key Creation

A single API key from KoboiLLM can be used to access all supported AI models (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Qwen).

How to Create a Virtual Key

  1. Navigate to Virtual Keys On the left sidebar of your KoboiLLM dashboard, click Virtual Keys.

  2. Create a New Key Click the + Create New Key button.

  3. Configure Key Parameters Fill out the key creation form with the following details:

    • Key Name: Enter any custom label (optional, for easy identification).
    • Models: Select All Team Models so this key can access all available models.
    • Key Type: Select Default.
    • Click Create Key.

  4. Save Your API Key

    • The system will display a secret key formatted as sk-xxxxxxxx....
    • IMPORTANT: Copy and save this key in a secure location right away.
    • You will not be able to view this key again after closing the pop-up modal.

Important Note This API key is universal across the entire KoboiLLM platform. You do not need separate keys for different model providers (e.g., no separate key for Gemini or Claude); simply use this single key for all integrations.
